A.V. Education Society began its journey in 1967 with 50 children and a rented house in Jayanagar. Smt. Ambuja Venkataraman, the Founder Secretary, grew up in a time when education was available mainly to the rich. Having seen a lot of suffering and poverty around her and seeing what changes education could bring about in their lives she was very keen to have a job-oriented high school mainly to help the poor gain employment without having to spend time and money on education.
Due to popular demand by welwishers,this Dental Clinic was started at JP Nagar,in 1996,exactly one year after starting another Dental Clinc in 1995 in a different locality.Later,we were on the verge of opening more clinics in major localities of Bengaluru.But due to the traffic congestion and other factors,it was impractical and resisted from doing so.We felt,too many dental setups may also dilute our main purpose of serving with quality.
We were, in 1996, amongst only very few dental clinics with AC in Bengaluru.Branded computers with patient education software were considered by many as premium,but not us,we had it.Not to mention specialists consultation with almost all latest dental materials and equipments.
