11th June 2001, began the tryst of Oakridge International School with Global education in rented premises of Jubilee Hills.
It all started with, four Pre-Primary Sections, with one Section each for grades I to V. In all ten classrooms, to accommodate the 250 students then.
Oakridge was privileged to have a sizable number of students in the very first year of its inception and were forced to turn down a number of requests for admissions due to space constraints.
24th June 2002 saw Oakridge move into its own new campus at Khajaguda, Hyderabad. The 5.5 acre, plush new and sprawling campus was equipped with the latest facilities befitting international standards.
Newer grades were added, and sections for each grade increased to keep pace with the progress of the students as well as to meet the demands of new admissions into the fold.
Grades VII and VIII were added thereafter with one section for each and the total strength rose to 400 students the same year.
By the academic year 2004-2005, Oakridge International had student count of 750.
Thus moving from strength to strength, the next academic year saw on rolls student number of 1400.
The number escalated to around 2700 in 2009-2010.
